# Troubleshooting

> Fixes for common problems joining Isoplan and connecting Claude Code.

> [accordion] Nothing happens when I press Set it up in Claude Code
>
> Press **Copy** under **Nothing happened?** and paste the message into Claude Code yourself. Using Claude Code in a terminal? Send it any message first (just "hi" is fine), then try again. Don't have Claude Code? [Get it here](https://claude.com/product/claude-code).

> [accordion] The floor says Isoplan isn't set up in Claude Code
>
> That is normal the first time on a computer. Press **Set it up in Claude Code** and follow [the steps](https://docs.isoplan.app/guides/connect-claude-code.md#the-first-time-on-a-computer).

> [accordion] The floor says "That didn't finish in time"
>
> The window on your computer wasn't answered in time. Press **Connect Claude Code** again.

> [accordion] I pressed Cancel by mistake
>
> Press **Connect Claude Code** again.

> [accordion] My invite link doesn't work
>
> It has been used or has expired. Ask your admin for a new one.

> [accordion] Is this computer connected?
>
> Type `/isoplan:connect` in Claude Code. It says whether this computer is connected, and to which office. If it isn't, press **Connect Claude Code** on the floor.

> [accordion] Claude said to type /isoplan:connect
>
> Open a new Claude Code window and type the line Claude gave you. The floor shows the line too, with **Copy**. If the floor says the earlier link ran out, use its new line. If Claude says the link has expired, press **Connect Claude Code** again.

> [accordion] My work isn't showing on the floor
>
> Type `/isoplan:connect` in Claude Code to check this computer is connected. Check **Settings → Machines** says **Reporting now**. If it does, ask your admin to add the project under **Repos**.

> [accordion] Do I need to edit any settings files?
>
> No. **Connect Claude Code** does it after you confirm on your computer.

Still stuck? Ask your office's admin.
